Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is serving time in prison, has hit the headlines again, after he got into an argument with a fellow inmate.According to the latest reports, the music star was reportedly placed in solitary confinement after a ‘brutal’ fight with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey earlier this week. TMZ reported that the incident started after an inmate allegedly insulted the music mogul, which quickly turned into a physical fight.

Sources told the outlet that the two men exchanged blows with each other before prison staff intervened and separated the two men. The report said Combs “held his own” during the fight before he was taken into solitary confinement, and thrown into “the hole.”TMZ further reports that the dispute could have ramifications beyond disciplinary action. Combs, who is currently scheduled to be released in February 2028. However, if prison officials determine that he has violated the rules, it could potentially affect the credits.

Howard Robertson, the former warden of Rikers Island in New York City, told TMZ that prison officials will investigate and if Combs is found to have violated prison regulations, it could negatively affect his record and could reduce the good behavior credits that contributed to his current release date.

Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025 following his federal trial earlier that year. He has already received credit for time he spent in pre-sentence custody.
