The 17th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) has opened its nominations, recognizing some of the most acclaimed films, shows and filmmakers from across Indian cinema.This year’s festival will be held from August 13 to August 23, 2026, with the support of the Victorian Government. Along with the awards ceremony, the event will feature premieres, special screenings, masterclasses, panel discussions, industry interactions and cultural programs.

Strong competition in the Best Film category
