England won the T20I series 4-0 in India with a 56-run victory in the fifth and final match at Southampton on Saturday. England’s aggressive batting left the visitors with no chance of a comeback.Chasing 258 is always a difficult task. Ishan Kishan scored 56, while Tilak Varma made a brisk 53, but neither innings was enough to threaten England’s all-round attack.The defeat made India’s five-match losing streak 4-0 after the opening game was washed out. It also ended India’s 1,601-day stay at the top of the ICC men’s T20I rankings. Under new captain Shreyas Iyer, India have now suffered six defeats, with the team struggling to find consistency on the tour.Meanwhile, England looked sharp in all departments in the series, with Buttler and Brook leading the way in the final over to end the one-sided contest decisively.
