India all-rounder Axar Patel is set to achieve another milestone when he enters the fourth T20I against England, becoming the 31st Indian cricketer to play 100 T20 Internationals. The highlight comes just two matches after Axar took his 100th T20I wicket, underscoring his status as one of India’s most reliable batsmen over the past decade.Reflecting on his journey from T20Is in 2015 to reaching the milestone of 100 matches, Axar admitted that he never thought about representing India many times.“When I played my first T20I, I never thought I would play 100 matches. This tour of England has been very special for me because I completed my 100 T20I wickets in the second match, and now I will play my 100 T20I in the fourth match. It’s a very special moment, and I’m enjoying it,” Axar said in a video shared by the BCCI.The left-handed football player also credited his teammates, coaches, and family for helping him reach his peak.“It feels good. Whenever you succeed, it’s not just about you. My teammates, coaches, and family have all been a part of this journey.”Axar also recalled his first glimpse of India and how representing the country remains every cricketer’s dream.“When you make your first appearance, it’s a completely different feeling.
