I only knew Marathi, only knew Hindi, and all these NRI kids Indian kids around me were like, how come he doesn’t know English? So obviously, the bullying started. I was so innocent. Just because I don’t know the language.” Looking back on those days, he added, “I went through bullying. I feel like it’s all about shutting out the noise and focusing on what our goal is. It will be difficult; pain, but that pain pushes you to grow. To be honest, without that, my English is not good. If they don’t bully me because of my English, right? So I choose to see it this way. I believe that every negative thing in our life helps to make the positive stronger. “
