The promotional campaign for Nitesh Tiwari’s epic ‘Ramayana’ is officially underway!With the Bharat Mandapam event scheduled to take place in New Delhi today, the film’s star – Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol and Kunal Kapoor – were spotted at the airport on Saturday, as they left the national capital.

Videos of the actors arriving at the airport went viral on social media with paparazzi spotting the main cast gathering at the airport to catch their flight out of the city. Ranbir, who essays the role of Lord Ram, was spotted in a black tracksuit and sunglasses. The actor, in a sweet gesture to the paparazzi, touched his hand to his heart and blew a kiss before pointing to the sky.Ranbir’s sighting comes amid reports that he was diagnosed with conjunctivitis ahead of the event. Reports say that the star is expected to attend the event while taking necessary precautions.In another video, Sai Pallavi, who plays the role of Sita, is seen arriving in a simple salwar suit, remaining silent as she exits the airport and her car, surrounded by security and her team.Actor Sunny Deol, who plays the role of Hanuman, was also seen stopping to pose for the shutterbugs before heading to the Mumbai airport. Joining him is actor Kunal Kapoor, who is reportedly playing the role of Indra Dev. Rocking a casual outfit, she was seen arriving at the airport with a bag slung over her shoulder.
About ‘Ramayana’ Bharat Mandapam event:
According to reports, the cast is heading to the Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, where the makers will host a grand event that will mark the official launch of Ramayana’s promotional campaign and showcase an exclusive preview of the film’s first trailer before its worldwide and digital release on July 24.Producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari are expected to be present along with several cast members, including Arun Govil, Ravi Dubey, Shobana, Rakul Preet Singh, Ajinkya Deo and the film’s antagonist, Yash.Billed as one of the biggest cinematic events in Indian film history, with a budget of over Rs 4,000 crore, the grand launch event is expected to offer viewers their first long look at the ambitious mythological spectacle, almost a week before the world can feast their eyes on the clip when it debuts at Comic Con next week.
‘Ramayana’ will take over the San Diego Comic-Con
After the launch in Delhi, the ‘Ramayana’ team will fly to San Diego to begin their grand international launch of the film at Comic-Con 2026, where the trailer will be shown to a global audience before the Diwali 2026 release.
‘Ramayana’ to be promoted at TIFF
According to reports, the team is also planning to promote their film at TIFF, where they are planning a special preview and press conference in September, before the film’s release in October.
