But over the years, it stopped bothering me. Arpita and I have completed 11 years of marriage. Our son is 10, and our daughter is six. In these 11 years, I have done only three films, none of them blockbuster hits. There is no real connection between my career and my family.”He added, “Sometimes people make a point of view based on what they see, and that is very easy to become a narrative. I no longer pay attention to these things. If I start responding to these accusations, it will be like disrespecting my marriage.

In the same conversation, Aayush also opened up about his relationship with Arpita Khan Sharma’s family. While he, like others, calls Salman Khan “Bhai,” the actor revealed that he has never called veteran screenwriter Salim Khan “Dad,” despite being encouraged to do so.“I have a different relationship with him, until now, I don’t have the courage to call him Dad. I admire him so much as a screenwriter that my heart only wants to call him ‘Salim Sahab.’ He is a legendary man. Most of the time, he speaks and I just reply. I feel very special to call him Papa or Papa. I am a big fan of ‘Deewar’, ‘Sholay’, and ‘Zanjeer’. I always bowed my head before him. I have never initiated a conversation with him. I saw him in a different zone,” he said.
