Actor Govinda is all set to return to the big screen with his upcoming films ‘Roopa’ and ‘Duniyadari’. The veteran star has now announced the project, where he will be seen opposite newcomer Rani Swarnkar. Apart from acting, Govinda also produced the film.At the press conference of the film, Govinda spoke about his personal and professional life. He also shared his thoughts on Roopa and what the project means to him. Revealing the press conference, he said, “Now I am ready. You will see the entire cast soon, we will announce it in our next meeting. The audience will see many newcomers from UP and Maharashtra.” Talking about the film in the media. he shared, “’Roopa and Duniyadari are both different kinds of films, especially made for the youth. Because young people start with high expectations, but sometimes they get lost. I will show the part of Maya that we can do in this film. Young people should not feel like people who are lost in the crowd. They must be confident and strong to the core. “He added, “When I work in films, the world is amazed at how I am here. I am not afraid of anything. I do not avoid the truth, I understand what happens first. I speak the truth, people do not believe me, some even abuse me, saying, ‘Look at what I said.’

Govinda was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 film ‘Rangeela Raja’, where he played a double role. However, the film failed at the box office. In 2022, he appeared in the documentary ‘Naam Tha Kanhaiyalal’. The actor has been away from films for the past seven years. Some of his recent projects include ‘Friday’, ‘Aa Gaya Hero’, ‘Hey Bro’, ‘Happy Ending’, ‘Kill Dil’, ‘Deewana Main Deewana’, and ‘Delhi Safari’.Additionally, Govinda’s wife Sunita and son Yashvardhan Ahuja are also making their film debuts and will appear in Ekta Kapoormovies.
