‘Jana Nayagan’ crossed Rs 49 crore India gross
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, ‘Jana Nayagan’ has earned Rs 2.29 crore nett in India on Day 2 in the latest update. The film is currently running in 4,027 screens across the country. With this early figure, the film has now collected Rs 43.29 crore (India net) and Rs 50.97 crore (India gross). The final Day 2 numbers are expected to increase significantly as the evening and night show collections are added. On its opening day, the film collected an impressive Rs 41 crore nett in India and Rs 78.27 crore worldwide gross, giving it one of Vijay’s strongest openings.
Tamil Nadu remains the biggest market for Vijay’s film
The opening day performance of the film was led by Tamil Nadu, contributing around Rs 24 crore to the domestic gross collections. Karnataka followed with Rs 11.25 crore, while Kerala added Rs 5.52 crore. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana accounted for Rs 4 crore, and other markets contributed the rest.
