‘Jana Nayagan’ producer clarification on certification process
The producer of “Jana Nayagan” KVN Productions has confirmed that the censor certificate circulating online is fake and the film has not yet received certification. The production house revealed that the CBFC has just completed their latest review and has asked the team to make some final changes before issuing the certificate. Explaining the current situation of Screen, the producer said, “The image that is being circulated is fake. CBFC has completed its review and sent us the final list of revisions. Once we have completed the changes, we hope to receive the certification and bring the film to theaters.
The makers remain confident about the film’s theatrical release
Despite the delay, the team is optimistic that the certification process is nearing completion. Theater owners in Tamil Nadu are learned to have started preparations for the film’s release, with the rest of the formalities expected to be completed soon. The makers are reportedly eyeing a theatrical release in the last week of July or the first week of August, depending on the certification process to be completed without further delay, the makers indicated.
