The makers of: Vijay: The ‘Jana Nayagan’ starrer has officially announced the theatrical release date of the film. After a long period of uncertainty about its release, it is finally set to hit the big screens in just a few days.

The production house took to its social media handle to unveil a new poster of the film and announced that the CM Vijay starrer will release on July 23. Sharing the poster, they wrote, “Tried by fire. Forged by time. Built for history. The harder the battle, the stronger the victory.”The newly released poster shows Vijay in a police uniform. He is seen standing with confidence while holding a sword.For those who don’t understand, the film was originally planned for a January release. However, it got delayed due to CBFC censorship issues. Later in April, the movie also faced another setback after it was leaked online in HD quality. Despite these problems, the makers have now completed all the formalities and set the official release date.

Directed by: H. Vinoth‘Jana Nayagan’ tells the story of Vetri Kondan, an ex-cop and convict. He adopted a girl named Viji and raised her to be brave and independent. He also encouraged him to join the army even though he was afraid. Vijay is shown as a leader of the people who stands up for them. Later, he is seen locking horns with the story’s main antagonist, namely: Bobby DeolIts character, who is a corrupt person who is looking for power and control.
