KEA releases UGCET 2026 first round provisional seat allocation; inspection results and objection process

KEA Seat Assignment 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the provisional results of the first round of seat allocation for UGCET admissions 2026 for professional courses, including engineering. Candidates can now access their provisional allotment status through the KEA official website. According to KEA, provisional seat allocation is prepared based on the options entered by eligible candidates before 11:30 am on July 9, 2026. If candidates find any discrepancy in the provisional allocation, they can submit their objections online before 5:00 pm on July 14, 2026. After verifying the objections, KEA will announce the final results of the first round of seat allocation.

Objection window open until July 14

Candidates who have objections to provisional allotment may pass July 14, 2026 at 5 pmemail to keauthority-ka@nic.in.Direct link to check and download results: https://cee.kerala.gov.in/keam2026/ KEA clarified that objections will only be considered in certain circumstances, including where there are discrepancies in the provisional results published, or where a candidate’s verified selections have been entered but no seats have been allocated. Requests made due to failure to enter preferences or modify previously submitted options will not be accepted. The authority also stated that no changes in option entries will be allowed at this stage of the admission process.

Final allocation after verification

After reviewing the objections received within the prescribed period, KEA will announce the final results of the first round of seat allocation. Candidates whose quota is finally allocated must report to the tentatively allocated institution according to the admission timetable announced by the competent department. KEA advises candidates to visit its official website regularly for notifications and updates related to the counseling process. The authority said it is not responsible for any consequences arising out of a candidate’s failure to comply with notices or instructions posted on the portal.
