KEA Seat Assignment 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the provisional results of the first round of seat allocation for UGCET admissions 2026 for professional courses, including engineering. According to KEA, provisional seat allocation is prepared based on the options entered by eligible candidates before 11:30 am on July 9, 2026. Objection window open until July 14

Requests made due to failure to enter preferences or modify previously submitted options will not be accepted. The authority also stated that no changes in option entries will be allowed at this stage of the admission process.
Final allocation after verification
After reviewing the objections received within the prescribed period, KEA will announce the final results of the first round of seat allocation. Candidates whose quota is finally allocated must report to the tentatively allocated institution according to the admission timetable announced by the competent department. KEA advises candidates to visit its official website regularly for notifications and updates related to the counseling process. The authority said it is not responsible for any consequences arising out of a candidate’s failure to comply with notices or instructions posted on the portal.
