ETimes praised Akhil Akkineni’s performance

Apart from its performance at the box office, Lenin also received a positive response to Akhil Akkineni’s performance. The ETimes review says, “Returning after a gap of three years, Akhil Akkineni has settled comfortably into his first full rural role. He plays down the character for most of the film before delivering his strongest performance on an emotional scale. Bhagyashri Borse is convincing as the free-spirited Bharathi, while the supporting cast lends credibility to the story. Sivaji, despite an effective screen presence, feels underutilized.Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin has Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse in lead roles, with music composed by Thaman S.DISCLAIMER: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
