actor: Rajpal Yadav already sentenced to Delhi High Court up to three months in jail in each of seven cases of check bouncing arising out of a Rs 9 crore debt dispute. As for the hearing that took place today, there was no relief for the actor.Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma also ordered the actor to pay Rs 1.05 crore to the complainant in each case. Yadav was ordered to pay Rs 1,04,75,000 to the complainant, along with Rs 25,000 to the State.The Court further ordered his wife, Radha Yadavto pay Rs 5,00,51,380 to the complainant in each of the seven cases. It clarified that the Rs 2.25 crore already paid by Rajpal Yadav will be adjusted against the total amount to be paid.During the previous hearing, Yadav practically appeared and rejected the settlement proposal placed before the Court. He submitted that he had suffered severe financial setbacks, saying, “I have suffered heavy financial losses.” * He further stated, * “I have been forced to sell my property and have already made a large payment.”The High Court also suggested a structured payment plan where Rs 3 crore would be paid within a specified timeframe. However, the Court clarified that the proposal is only a judicial proposal and not a final settlement. Despite these efforts, the parties were unable to reach an agreement.
