The Legend of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar was among the star attractions Wimbledon Friday as he advances to the men’s singles semifinals at the All England Club. During the live broadcast, the former India batsman was seen enjoying the action on court, with one commentator describing him as “perhaps the greatest batsman of all time” as cameras panned over him on the pitch.Tendulkar was spotted watching the opening semifinal between Britain’s Arthur Fery and French Open champion Alexander Zverev on Center Court. The Master Blaster looked relaxed as he enjoyed his performance alongside other celebrity guests at one of tennis’ most popular parties.This was not Tendulkar’s first visit to Wimbledon. The all-rounder has been to the Grand Slam several times over the years, showing his love for the game beyond cricket. His appearances at the world’s biggest sporting events often attract the attention of fans around the world.Watch:The first semi-final saw world number 114 Arthur Fery take on Alexander Zverev. Fery, who grew up five minutes from the All England Club and played college tennis at Stanford University, was aiming to become the first wild card to reach the Wimbledon final since Goran Ivanisevic’s memorable 2001 triumph.The second semifinal of the day pitted defending champion Jannik Sinner against seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic another blockbuster clash on Center Court. Djokovic defeated Sinner in five games in the Australian Open final, adding to the excitement of the tournament.The semifinals were played in hot conditions, with temperatures reaching around 29 degrees Celsius in south-west London.The women’s singles final, scheduled for Saturday, will feature an all-Czech showdown between Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova.
