Rajpal Yadav sentenced to three months’ imprisonment in Delhi High Court in Rs 9 crore debt case. In 2012, Yadav took a loan from businessman Madhav Gopal Agrawal of Murli Projects Pvt Ltd and over the years, the loan amount has now gone to Rs 9 crore. The actor defaulted on his loan and is in Tihar jail. After his bail, he did not comply with the court order and refused to give money. In the latest update on Friday, the actor was sentenced to three months in prison. However, Rajpal is yet to go to jail. Advocate Avnish Sikka, representing Murli Projects Pvt Ltd, was quoted as saying by ANI, “Now, the cases filed by Rajpal Yadav are reserved for orders. According to the judgment of the Delhi High Court, all 21 cases filed by Rajpal Yadav were dismissed, and the order passed by the Sessions court was upheld. The court ordered him to undergo imprisonment for three months; He was also ordered to pay a fine of Rs 1.05 crores in each case. The sentence of 3 months imprisonment shall run concurrently. Mrs. Radha Rajpal Yadav is also one of the accused in these cases. He was ordered to pay Rs 5 lakh as fine in each case. While the case was being stated, his lawyer prayed for a trial. The court denied his relief for probation. The court considered the repeated violation of his duties given by the court, coupled with the fact that on the last day Rajpal Yadav said, “I am ready to go to jail 5 times but will not pay a single penny”. He was given two months to comply with the order or challenge the sentence in the Supreme Court.” Therefore, according to the advocate, the court gave two months time to Yadav to comply with the orders, pay the money, go to jail or challenge the decision of the High Court of the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, on the work front, Yadav was last seen in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’
