Actor Joju George has made serious allegations against an unnamed star couple. Speaking during an Instagram Live session held in connection with the release of his latest film ‘Varavu’, the actor admitted that a leading Malayalam actor and his wife are running a PR campaign against him. Without naming anyone, Joju alleged that the campaign was meant to tarnish his image. He also suggested that such practices are not limited to one individual or one industrial family.According to the actor, paid publicity campaigns are becoming increasingly common in Malayalam cinema. However, he did not know any of the people he was referring to.

During the live interaction, Joju expanded his allegations by claiming that many prominent personalities from the Malayalam film industry are using paid PR strategies. He said, “I am aware of such activities, but I will not reveal any names or give further details.”The actor’s comments came at a time when Varavu was facing mixed negative reactions after its theatrical release. The film, directed by Shaji Kailas, received criticism for its ’90s style storytelling and execution, which many viewers called outdated.
