It has also called for Letexier and the team he leads to be removed from the rest of the game, saying they made a serious mistake.After the match, Egypt’s coach Hassan questioned several refereeing decisions and made some further comments game itself affected the outcome.“We looked better than the manager – better in everything -, but the result was affected by what was inside the game and outside,” said Hassan. “Maybe they want him to remain the world champion in this tournament. Maybe they want Messi to stay in the tournament,” he said at the post-match press conference.“In football, sometimes there are external factors that go beyond talent. The world champion received support at every level,” he added.Argentina completed a comeback after trailing 2-0 with 11 minutes of regulation time to win 3-2 and advance to the quarterfinals.Egypt went ahead with goals from Yasser Ibrahim and Mostafa Zico. The African side also conceded another goal after a VAR review, a decision that proved crucial as Argentina recovered to win the game.Argentina will now face Switzerland in the quarter-finals on Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri.
