After investing in a property in Ayodhya, Ranbir Kapoor expanded his real estate portfolio by buying nearly 25 acres of land in Pune’s Mulshi taluka for Rs 16.42 crore, according to property registration. The deal, which was registered on April 30, 2026, includes four adjacent parcels of land located in Pimpri village. The largest plot, measuring 43,800 sq m, was acquired for Rs 7.07 crore. Another plot spread over 29,900 sq m was bought for Rs 4.62 crore, while the 21,400 sq m plot was bought for Rs 3.31 crore. The fourth and smallest plot, measuring 8,900 sq m, was acquired for Rs 1.39 crore, according to documents accessed by CRE Matrix.In total, the four parcels of land cover 1,04,000 sq m, or approximately 25.7 hectares, taking the total transaction value to Rs 16.42 crore. Property registration documents show that the purchase attracted a stamp duty of Rs 82.13 lakh.This is not the Kapoor’s only recent land purchase. In May 2026, Abhinandan Lodha House announced that the actor had acquired a plot of land in its project, ‘The Sarayu’, in a deal worth around Rs 3.31 crore.The 2,134 sq ft plot is part of a 75-acre plotted development located along the Sarayu River. According to the company, the project will feature a clubhouse, more than 35 lifestyle amenities, and a five-acre fully vegetarian luxury hotel operated by The Leela.Ranbir Kapoor’s latest investment reflects a wider trend of Bollywood celebrities looking beyond Mumbai for real estate opportunities.
