As Atharvaa’s ‘Idhayam Murali’ completes five days in theaters, it remains strong at the box office. The weekday collections naturally declined after the opening weekend, but the romantic drama still attracted family and children audiences. The film’s emotional story, youth romance, and beautiful music helped it stay relevant despite the new competition.
‘Idhayam Murali’ came to Rs 17.72 crore
According to Sacnilk, ‘Idhayam Murali’ has collected an estimated net of Rs 1.23 crore in India on its 5th day in 1,426 shows. The latest numbers pushed the film’s total Indian collection to Rs 11.93 crore, while its domestic gross rose to Rs 13.72 crore. In the overseas market, the romantic entertainer has earned Rs 4 crore gross so far. The film’s total collection, including overseas earnings, is now Rs 17.72 crore. The collections fell from Rs 1.50 crore on day 4 to Rs 1.23 crore on Tuesday, but the hold was good for a weekday.
A consistent weekday performance kept the film’s box office hopes alive
‘Idhayam Murali’ continues to ride the wave of positive feedback among the audience, especially among the young moviegoers who relate to the emotional moments and light-hearted storytelling. The positive word of mouth helped ‘Idhayam Murali’ to maintain a decent run after the weekend surge. If the film can hold on for the next few days of the week, it might end the first week on a decent note before the next few releases come and bring stiff competition.
