The ETimes review praised the performances
ETimes appreciated the performances of the lead cast while pointing out the shortcomings of the film’s visual effects, especially in the latter part. The review reads, “Visually, Nagabandham is a mixed bag. While the production design and scale impress initially, the visual effects continue to lose quality as the film progresses. In the climax the heavy reliance on CGI becomes more distracting than immersive, taking away from the scene the film aims to deliver. Natesh makes the most of his role with confidence and screen presence. Jagapathi Babu and Mahesh Manjrekar command attention despite their limited screen time, adding weight whenever they appear.
