The FIFA World Cup 2026 final will be more spectacular than football after FIFA revealed the Super Bowl line-up for the first time in the tournament, with Justin Bieber joining Madonna, Shakira and BTS as co-hosts.The 11-minute performance, directed by Coldplay leader Chris Martin, will take place at the end of the World Cup at the New York Stadium in New Jersey Stadium on July 19, bringing together some of the most famous in music and sports icons from around the world in a famous celebration of football and culture.FIFA said the long-running exhibition will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to increase education and football opportunities for children around the world. More than USD 50 million has already been raised, with USD 1 from every World Cup ticket sold being donated to the project.

Joining Bieber on stage will be Madonna, Shakira and BTS, while Afrobeats star Burna Boy, world-renowned Venezuelan Gustavo Dudamel and the award-winning PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay will also perform.Adding a family touch to the event, beloved characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets, including Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, will appear on the show.“The FIFA World Cup bringing the world together in a way that nothing else can,” Bieber said in a statement. “I’m excited to be a part of the Halftime Show, and I’m so grateful to know that it’s already helping to expand access to education for children around the world.”FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the series reflects the tournament’s desire to combine sports, music and social culture on the biggest stage.“We are proud that Justin Bieber has joined Madonna, Shakira and BTS to headline the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund and our mission to increase access to higher education and football opportunities for children around the world,” said Infantino.
Burna Boy, Chris Martin and other international acts play a major role
One of the performers is Burna Boy, who collaborated with Shakira on the official song of the tournament, “Dai Dai,” a multilingual song mixed with Afrobeats and Latin music that has become one of the most popular songs of the World Cup.“The FIFA World Cup is one of the few moments that unites the world,” Burna Boy said. “Representing Africa at the first ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show is an honor and a responsibility that I do not take lightly. I am honored to be part of a sports organization that not only celebrates football and culture but also helps create greater opportunities for children through education around the world.“Chris Martin, who directs the show, said in a film announcing FIFA that the work will be “about cooperation … and everyone is invited.”Unlike the NFL’s Super Bowl, soccer usually has pre-game entertainment instead of halftime, which makes the World Cup final more popular.
