Actor-comedian Shekhar Suman took a funny swipe at: Aamir Khan after the actor’s marriage to Gauri Spratt. In the latest episode of his popular YouTube talk show Shekhar Tonite, Shekhar mixed political satire with relationship humor as he joked about Aamir tying the knot for the third time.Speaking in his trademark comic style, Shekhar said, “This man gave a unique vision to many generations to come. And that vision is to chase something until you don’t achieve it. Politicians, especially, should learn from him. It is often said that politicians know how to make alliances.
“He runs a triple machine”
Taking the jokes further, Shekhar teased that Aamir had successfully formed a “mahagathbandhan” (big alliance).“Our government cannot run a double machine smoothly, and he is running a triple machine now,” he joked.Continuing the banter, Shekhar played Gauri Spratt’s name and said, “Aapne Gauri… ek minute… gaur kiya hoga.”He then added, “Aamir’s talent is unimaginable. He is amazing. He is like an engine where petrol, ethanol, and isobutanol are mixed. But still, this engine has not stopped, and is running smoothly on the tracks to the new destination.”The comedian also drew another political comparison, saying, “Aamir Khan formed the government for the third time with an absolute majority. Is Aamir Khan the NDA government or what? Even PM Modi must have thought he just broke Nehru’s record, and now he has a new competitor in Aamir Khan.”
‘This is called vasudhaiva kutumbakam’
Shekhar also talked about the reported presence of Aamir’s ex-wives and children during the wedding celebrations.Pointing out that Aamir’s first two wives and his children – Ira Khan, Junaid Khan and Azad – were present, he said, “This is called vasudhaiva kutumbakam (the world is a family).”Concluding with another punchline, Shekhar said, “Now, I understand why he is called a ‘perfectionist’. He keeps doing something until he becomes perfect at it. As we all know, perfection ki koi seema nahi hoti… Seema chhodiye, koi Reena, koi Kiran nahi hoti.”

Aamir Khan reportedly married Gauri Spratt in an intimate registered ceremony held at his Pali Hill residence in Mumbai on July 5. The intimate event was attended by family members and a few close friends.The wedding photos show Aamir signing the marriage documents while Gauri sits next to him. The ceremony was attended by Aamir’s son Azad Rao Khan, who was seen holding a ring box, while Gauri’s son from his previous marriage also participated in the ceremony. Aamir’s mother Zeenat Hussain was also present.For the ceremony, Gauri wore an intricately embroidered ethnic dress paired with statement jewelry and fresh white flowers in her braid. Aamir opted for a crisp white kurta, accessorized with a statement brooch, his signature black rimmed glasses and a well-groomed beard. The intimate celebration was attended by Aamir’s sons Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, son-in-law Nupur Shikhare, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, members of the Ambani family, actor Elli AvrRam, cricketer Irfan Pathan and politician Raj Thackeray.Aamir and Gauri have known each other for over 25 years after first meeting in Bengaluru. Although they kept in touch over the years, they reportedly reconnected in 2023 and finally started dating. Gauri works in the fashion and beauty industry and is also associated with Aamir Khan Productions.
