Ira Khan, daughter of Aamir Khan, is very candid about her relationship with fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare. The two have been dating for some time and got married two years ago. In an interview in April, the couple spoke candidly about their life together. During their conversation with Vibhor Adnani on his Instagram page, ‘Shutter Bonsai’, Ira candidly shared how excited he was the first time they fought, which made Shikhare laugh and ask him to continue telling the story. During the interview, Ira revealed that he was excited about the fact that they were fighting, because he wanted Shikhare to take medicine even though he refused to take it.However, she shared a bit of context and added that she suffers from cyclic depression, although her husband is her biggest supporter. He shared during the interview that “We have arguments. Kabhi kabhi, woh mere depression se thak jaata hai (Sometimes, he gets tired of my depression). I have cyclical depression…it comes in phases…sometimes, there are dips. Both of us are better at catching them.”To this, Nupur quickly replied that she didn’t care about the name, she just knew that she would go there when Ira was feeling low and things weren’t going well. He also added in the interview that, “You want to call it depression or something…Hide it. I don’t understand….what I understand is that you are sick. So, we will do everything necessary for that. Let’s do this together.”

During the same interview, Khan and Shikhare also shared how they met for the first time and how their relationship developed. Ira revealed that the two of them met during a shoot where he worked as a make-up artist, and from the beginning he thought Shikhare was attractive, which is why they talked and developed into a relationship.The video from April has resurfaced online as Ira’s father, Aamir Khan married his wife, Gauri Spratt at his residence in a private and intimate ceremony. The wedding of the actor and the businessman was attended by family members, close friends, and some co-stars over the years, and was registered under the special marriages act.
