Veteran Marathi actor Medha Manjrekarwife of filmmaker and actor Mahesh Manjrekarrevealed that he was diagnosed with cancer. The actress shared the news through a heartfelt post on social media.Medha: opened up about her treatment journey and thanked everyone who supported her during one of life’s most challenging periods.Along with her message, Medha posted a series of photos from the hospital.

Medha revealed in her note that she has successfully completed one phase of her treatment. Looking back on the experience, she chose to focus not on the illness but on the kindness she received throughout her journey.He wrote, “As one phase of my treatment ends and my birthday approaches, I find myself relapsing. Not with the diagnosis. Not in surgery. Not with chemotherapy. Not with radiation. I remember the grace.”He further shared, “Looking back, I know it was no coincidence. That was God’s way of holding my hand. During this journey, I realized that God does not always appear before us in a divine form. He came into my life as my Gurus, my doctors, my nurses, my family, my friends, and even as a person who was once a stranger but became a blessing.”

Medha also thanked the people who took care of her during the treatment. She wrote, “When the treatment took away my appetite, someone always knew what I would eat. A box of dhoklas. Soft idlis. Gulpapdi, Pani puri on the day I suddenly craved it. Simple food…Wrapped with incredible love.”His daughter, actor Saiee Manjrekarresponded to the post with a touching message, commenting, “strongest gallllllll.”Many Marathi film personalities, including: Swapnil JoshiNeena Kulkarni, and others also extended their support and wished Medha a speedy recovery.Over the years, Medha Manjrekar has earned appreciation for her performances in Marathi cinema. Mahesh Manjrekar was diagnosed with high-grade urinary bladder cancer in 2021.
