As a result, a three-and-a-half-hour operation was performed only on his right shoulder on Saturday, after the standard pre-operative test on Friday. The surgery for the left shoulder is expected to take place in approximately two months.The party revealed that the shoulder injury started in 2016, but Pawan Kalyan has been repeatedly undergoing treatment to continue fulfilling his political commitments. He continued to bear the pain throughout the Varahi Yatra and the latest general election campaigns.The true extent of the damage was identified in April during a medical evaluation for a nose job. Doctors discovered severe rotator cuff damage and muscle tears, expressing surprise at his ability to endure such severe physical trauma for so long. After their urgent recommendation for surgery, he underwent further evaluation in Mumbai a few weeks ago, which culminated in the surgery on Saturday. He is currently recovering under close medical supervision.A few hours after the operation, the Jana Sena Party issued another update, confirming that the operation was successfully completed. The party added that doctors also discovered an avulsion fracture in Pawan Kalyan’s shoulder, making the procedure more complicated than initially expected.The statement read, “The operation performed by State Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan in Mumbai was very successful. A medical team led by renowned orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine expert, Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, performed the procedure on Shri Pawan Kalyan’s right shoulder. A major operation had to be done because, in addition to the rotator cuff injury, he also had an avulsion fracture in his shoulder. The surgical procedure took three and a half hours to complete. He was transferred from the operation theater to the recovery room and is currently recovering from the effects of anesthesia. Shri Pawan Kalyan remains under close medical supervision.
