Sai Pallavi stars as goddess Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoorof Lord Ram in the upcoming epic film. During the event, the actress expressed her feelings about playing the role. “I don’t think I chose to play Sita maa. I was blessed to play this role. It’s not something you can follow and it’s not something you can write and say, it’s what I want to play. I sit and meditate and say, Sita maa, you act through me. Whatever comes through me is what you want for the film,” he said, in the now-viral video clip.

At the New Delhi event, the makers unveiled the first look of the much-awaited film ‘Ramayana’ on July 18, 2026.
