Ahmed Khan led by the star-studded action-comedy ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is going strong in Week 3 of its theatrical run, with the film’s collections in the low single-digit crore range typical of its third week hold. Opening to a strong Rs 63.75 crore domestic net on Day 1 and crossing the Rs 125 crore mark on Day 13, the film continues to add incremental numbers even as competition from new release ‘Dhamaal 4’ starts eating into its show count. On Day 17, the film is now chasing the Rs 130 crore milestone.

‘Welcome to the Jungle’ got off to a flying start, crossing Rs. 50 crore mark on the opening day itself with Rs. 63.75 crore net. The film pushed Rs. 90 crore mark by the end of Week 1, with the opening Sunday alone contributing to a high single-day tally of Rs. 24.75 million. The global gross also took Rs. 90 crore milestone within the same window, closing Week 1 at Rs. 93.45 crore worldwide.Week 2 saw the film cross Rs. 100 crore domestic net mark on Day 9, with the milestone falling comfortably within the second week push that took the daily collections back to Rs. 7.50 crore and Rs. 9.75 crore on Day 9 and Day 10 respectively. On Day 10, the worldwide gross also crossed Rs. 150 crore mark, stands at Rs. 166.75 crore. The film went on to cross Rs. 125 crore domestic net mark and Rs. 175 crore worldwide gross mark on Day 13, before ending Week 2 with a Week 2 net of Rs. 31.90 million. Day 14 pushed the film past Rs. 148 crore total India gross and Rs. 180 crore worldwide gross milestones.Week 3 opened on a shaky note as Day 15 collection of Rs. 1.00 crore marks a whopping 53.5% decline from Rs 2.15 crore nett on Day 14. This pushed the domestic gross to Rs. 149.80 crore and net to Rs. 126.05 million. Overseas, the film added Rs. 0.25 crore, pushing the total overseas gross to Rs. 31.70 crore and the worldwide gross to Rs. 181.50 million.The movie then returned on Day 16, to collect Rs. 1.60 crores. This brings the total India gross to Rs. 151.72 crore and total India net to Rs. 127.65 million. Overseas collections on Day 16 stood at Rs. 0.50 crore, taking the total overseas gross to Rs. 32.20 crore and the worldwide gross to Rs. 183.92 crore.

On Day 17, the film ran in 1,279 screens and collected a net of: Rs. 0.79 million until today.This takes the total India gross collection to: Rs. 152.65 million and the net of: Rs. 128.44 millionwith final collections for Day 17 tallied at the end of the day.
